Alright! At last! 4 full days or about 36 hours of searching and filtering and now it’s done. Simply insane list of 140 do follow and nollow blogs. Moreover, I’ve sorted all of them out. Now you are able to pick those, which are better.
How are they sorted?
By Google pagerank, Alexa ranking, and this time I’ve added some notes, that will help you to search those blogs, that relate to your niche.
How this list supposed to help you?
You can get lots of external links from other blogs to your site. The only thing you have to do is to leave good comments. Don’t spam :) It is useless and pointless.
What is CommentLuv?
This is a wordpress plugin, that adds a link to the latest post of the comment’s author. More about CommentLuv.
Why is this list so perfect?
Well.. First of all, it’s compiled from about 900 websites. I’ve found them on the first 15 pages of Google search with the following phrase – cumment luv dofollow. I’ve looked for all the most valuable lists.
It was really hard, because almost all of the provided links were dead. But.. a little bit of patience and everything’s done now :)
About notes
As you can see, I’ve added some notes, but not to every listed blog. Why is that? That is because those blogs, that don’t have any note, relate to my niche and I will, probably, use for commenting.
Why notes are so short?
I save your time :) It would be better for SEO to make several-lines-notes, but that wouldn’t look compact.
What’s my niche?
Look under my logo above :) It says “Speaking about website traffic & promotion”. Well.. Of course it’s not so easy to fit my niche for so many blogs. But I’m going to use also “make money online”, “tech”, “blogging tips” and “internet marketing” blogs for commenting. Rather close, isn’t it? Anyway, I think it’s my targeted traffic :)
Why 2010 again?
Because these dofollow and nofollow blogs will, probably, work in 2010, as most of them do now. Anyways, this list will be updated after each Google PageRank update.
How to treat “+”, “-”, “?” in the scheme?
Example 1: “example.com – (-;-) – 5 – 201,471 – rare”. From this example you can see that michaeltorbert.com author’s link in comment is “nofollow” and the CommentLuv’s link is also “nofollow”. Google pagerank is 5 and Alexa ranking is 201,471. The note says, that this blog publishes new posts rarely.
Example 2: “example2.com – (+;-) – 3 – 1,305,531 – tech, writing, very rare”. From this example you can see that inkthinkerblog.com author’s link in comment is “do follow”, but CommentLuv’s link is “nofollow”. The note says, that the current blog relates to the niche about technologies and writing. “Very rare” means, that the author of this blog publishes new posts extremely rare >.<, so there won't be much work with commenting on this blog.
Example 3: “example3.com – (+;?) – 3 – 25,578 – fast growth”. From this example you can see that example3.com author’s link in comment is “do follow”, but CommentLuv’s link is whether dofollow or nofollow and there’s no exact explanation why it’s not exact. Contact that blog’s author for more details. The note says, that this blog has very fast promotion. You better stick to what’s going on it.
So.. I hope I’ve answered most of the possible questions.
Scheme of the list: “URL – (+/-/?;+/-/?) – Google pagerank – Alexa ranking – Note”

Updated on 13th April 2010
A lot of work, right? Basically, because I started blogging not so long time ago, I’ve made this list for myself :) So, you can see, that I didn’t regret my time. Good luck, dear commenters!
PS: “Almost dead” changed to “Barely Active” :)
PPS: “Barely Active” changed to “Rarely Updated” :)

Today’s Dessert: Robot Boys’ Awesome Dance
Winner of Talent 2008 Denmark – Robot Boys. These guys are amazing dancers and entertainers. They won the final, and the prize money of 250,000 danish kroner. Watch…

Now that is what I call a list! Great resource, thanks for the effort and thanks for including my blog. I will be referring to this list often as I will be looking into the blogs that I do not know about yet. This is great link bait and I have linked to it in my Sunday,s Best round up.
Thanks, Tycoon. That’s what I call a “reward” :)
This one is HUGE man. Thanks. BTW, I do have a list of 111 Blog with CommentLuv enable on my blog (No links on comments)
steppinout,
Well.. I’ve seen a lot of lists like yours. With just clean links. It’s hard to call a “good job”.
So I stepped a little bit further.
Nice list, 2 questions:
Why isn’t iwoodpecker commentluv enabled? (and are comments dofollow)?
What criteria was used for the “almost dead” lists?
JEDs
I was going to just msg u on twitter on how sweet the site is looking but I also wanted to thank you for adding my blog. I made a list like that one time and the first comment the dude said thanks JERK for sending spammers to my blog, needless to say I SMOKED him for that rude comment :)
Good luck with the blog
Happy Holidays
JEDs,
1) I’m thinking about it.
2) Yes.
3) Rare publishing.
John Sullivan,
Well, there will be always spammers.
BTW, I’d pass that comment :) It could grow into awesome quarrel, which is always useful for your blog promotion :))
I was alerted about your post and allow me to correct you, my site is ‘DoFollow’ with CommentLuv. No idea what does your ‘Almost Dead’ means, kindly clarify on that.
Nice list, mine is new (only couple of posts so far) but is do-follow with comment love and top commenter as well. I like these plugins as it seems to encourage more comments and interaction.
Where is comment luv here?
Ching Ya,
My apologize :) You are now in Do Follow, but still almost dead, because you publish too seldom. Read my explanation on “almost dead” in the end of the post.
Keith
Read “PS” in the end of the post.
About CommentLuv “here”.. I’m thinking about it.
Nice list. It would probably be a good idea to inform people who would like to use this list that they must not leave spam type comments, as they will more likely than not be deleted.
Thank you Allan for the correction. I’m glad you responded quick about this so not to cause misunderstanding to others. Although I do not agree with the ‘Almost Dead’ indicator as it could be misunderstood as ‘dead link’ for some. ‘Rare publishing’ and ‘almost dead’ sounds very different to me, really. I do hope that you can have a proper noun replacing ‘almost dead’ as the rare-publishing blogs are still, currently running and very much alive. :-)
Hopefully you can look into this matter. Thank you in advance.
@wchingya
Social/Blogging Tracker
Very Nice list. I have been working on such a list for almost 6 months now. I have no intention of publishing my list.I guess you could say I am selfish.
The real reason I keep my list private is because so many bloggers do not want to deal with the spam that will surely come their way. Surely they realize that the additional legitimate comments that they receive will increase their blogs rankings, popularity and earnings. Alas, it does mean more work, too. It means wading through all the comments, deleting the spam AND checking out the sites that your blog will be linking to. You would not want to link to a bad neighborhood.
I have (selfishly!) added the blogs from your list that I had not found yet. I really do appreciate your hard work.
Thanks for including my site in your list as well. This is quite a comprehensive listing of CommentLuv blogs!
The “Almost Dead” category kind of threw me as well, as I know a few of the bloggers on that list – while they may not publish as often, when they do, they are awesome articles.
Sometimes, I find better content on sites that rarely publish. A lot of the ones who write rarely put a lot of though into those posts, whereas some that publish daily or multiple times a day have less valuable content because they are just trying to jam something out for the day.
~ Kristi
Hey thanks for adding my blog into your list, I was so surprise when I saw my blog in the Dofollow + Commentluv category, and you put a “Good” behind.
Thank you Allan for the link love!
Cheers,
Lee
The year 2010 haven’t even started but you have wrote an article of the year!
Thanks for share and I will check the list one by one and will report if there is any changes during the time.

Hello Allan,
Thanks for including me in this list. I found your site because you referred a visitor to my blog. This looks like a great list for me to look into. I have actually found some very interesting sites by finding them through commentluv and then adding them to my reader because of the content. I appreciate the time you put into creating the list.

TheFlyOnTheWall´s last awesome post ..And the Jackass award goes to Big Corporate Business! Ford!
TheFlyOnTheWall,
Yeap, that’s right :)
Allan, you have been so helpful here for me. One more question. I already have NoFollow FREE installed and it allowed me to set a few settings. However, when I installed the DoFollow plugin you recommended and activated it, it does not appear to have anywhere for me to change any kind of settings. Does this plugin have no settings to change or setup and we just roll with whatever it is already set at? I went to the forum and their site and do not find anything regarding this question so was hoping you wouldn’t mind helping one more time :)
Thanks again,
Tam
TheFlyOnTheWall´s last awesome post ..And the Jackass award goes to Big Corporate Business! Ford!
TheFlyOnTheWall,
You’re right, there is no settings for this plugin. But it does its job. It changes yur comments links. They are now without “nofollow” attribute, which means they’re dofollow.
Check out my post: “Collection of 70+ Soc. Book. Sites with PR and Alexa”. I’ve explained there everything about nofollow and dofollow attributes and how to check their presense.

Thanks for the help.
My recent blog: Best Way To Lose Belly Fat
Dr. Kal
Not sure.. Excellent question by the way! I should find it out.
I’m still surprised that people believe that Google gives any recognition (in terms of SERPS) to people’s comments on blogs. Why should it? If I were google I would discount all comments regardless if they are dofollow or nofollow.
My recent blog: Versace Indonesia
Tempo dulu,
Well, I still believe, that Google, actually, gives recognition to comments.. at least, because comments are indexed and displayed in Google’s tools for webmasters.
If any one wants really good traffic on the web site than promotion of the web site is very much required one should have to go for getting good and quality back links. Do Follow Blog commenting is one of the best for it but searching do follow blogs is not that easy. You have provided a very good list of do follow blogs. Thank you so much for this great resource. Keep sharing such stuffs again and again.
ASP,
Sure :)
@tempo dulu said, “If I were google I would discount all comments regardless if they are dofollow or nofollow.”
Pretty sure I don’t believe that. I’ve done most of my backlink building through commentary, and my main page has gone from PR1 to PR4, and my blog from nothing to PR3. I know that almost every backlink I have is because of blog building. Something is working, eh?
My recent blog: Saturday Silliness: The Sun!
Feel free to delete this comment… but it looks like Blogussion (your first do-follow blog) has given up on do-follow and is now no-follow. :(
My recent blog: Saturday Silliness: The Sun!
Gomez,
You’re right about Blogussion. Thanks for letting me know :)
Oh I was completely unaware of this list. Just came to know about it through WordPress stats. Somebody has come to my blog through this page. Thanks for including Netchunks in the list
My recent blog: How to be an authority blogger
Oh, I almost forgot this list. Thanks for including me in the blog list. I visit some sites above and notice that they don’t use commentluv anymore, you should update it sometime:)
My recent blog: Choosing the Best Webhost for your Ecommerce Start-up
I love the CommentLuv plugin….
For now I use it on only one a blog not even indexed yet, but i hope you will let my comment here pass to the list.
Who knows, my blog might reach the ranging criteria to be followed some day :)
I have just spent like three hours looking through your links and damn that is big list besides the fact that a lot of these are do follow they have some amazing articles to read.
My recent blog: Halloween Super Affiliate – How To Make Money With Halloween Niche
Most of the sites I find that say they use commentluv must have it turned off because when you land on the site they comments are closed. Also some of the sites you list don’t let you post comments even when you add to the conversation. Thanks for the list it is very helpful.
My recent blog: Putter Golf
Alan,
This is a handy list of ‘CommentLuv’ blogs to thank you for, not only by leaving a comment (here) but also by linking back to it.

Thanks for listing!
Hicham
My recent blog: Just Recovering
I’ve tried posting to the first three sites on this list and I guess I’ve got lots of blogs to add on my list.. Thanks for this, it really helped me a lot since I’m recently researching on the possible effects of commentluv to the blogs… Keep up with this lively blog!
The best list ever ! Thanks for your time on making the list…
My recent blog: Blog Blazers Ebook Giveaway Contest
And the links, they are still coming around. I missed this when you put it up. Thanks for the listing!
My recent blog: Failure is a Point of View Who’s defining yours
Hi Allan,
Thank you for including me on your list. I do see visitors showing up from this referral link, so there’s no doubt people are using your resource.
I do want to offer one bit of advice for people who come to my blog via your list (and I suspect this probably applies to other “dofollow” blogs as well) …
If you want to get maximum long-term value from commenting on dofollow blogs, try using just your Real Name for at least your first couple of comments … and make sure those comments actually add to the conversation (ie, they’re relevant and interesting).
Yes, you might be using less than optimal anchor text for the dofollow links from those first few comments …
But (and I can’t say this is true of every blogger, but it is with me), if you’re my friend; someone who has consistently contributed to the conversation on my (personal) blog; then I don’t mind a bit if you use anchor text for your future comments … in fact, if one of my friends asks, I’ll probably even do what I can to find a way to link to them “in-post” (either on future or past blog entries).
On the flip side …
If someone I don’t already know, shows up at my blog (especially via link from a dofollow list such as this one) and uses keyword anchor text instead of their name, on the very first comment they ever make on my blog … it better one heck of a good comment
… or else they’re running the risk of (at best) having that (and quite likely future) comments sent to the trash, and never show up on my blog; or (at worst) having their comment marked as Spam in AKISMET … which may even effect their ability to make comments on other blogs.
In other words … it’s most “profitable” to think long-term, and “relationship oriented” when planning your commenting “strategy”.
… in my opinion.
My recent blog: Less Marketing More Networking
Hey…thanks for this list. I have tried and tested this list now for a while. And for that very reason now I think my blog is ready to be included in this list.
The opinion dot com is a comment luv as well as a do follow blog and is updated on a daily basis. Will be great if you can add it in the list as well.
Thanks
Sometimes one of the best methods of finding these high quality blogs to comment on is to just follow the links in people’s comment name fields back to their sites. If you hop around like that, you will be surprised how many great new places you discover and how much detailed information you learn in the process.
My recent blog: Why Do Some Sites Use A Combination Of Nofollow and dofollow
Great post. I accept Author links, Comment Luv links, and Top Commentators links all Do Chase on my blog. Would adulation it if you’d add me to your list. On addition note. How do I accomplish the Author links no follow, but accumulate the Comment Luv links Do Follow? Thanks for the help.
Great list but you seems missing my URLs friend. Thanks
Excellent list I’m sure I will use a lot of these.
Tips for Comments:
Read the tips before you hit the "Submit" button.
NB! Though your name links are nofollow, I can make your ComLuv links dofollow - manually. And I will make them dofollow, if you show your most relevant recent post.
1. Try to add value;
2. Don't be another "congratulator";
3. Use your real name or promotional name, not keywords;
4. Do not use "name@keywords", there is no "keyword love" plugin here;
5. Try to be polite, where it's possible;
6. Do not agree with everything - that sounds and looks ridiculous;
7. If you wish to leave some link to one of your posts, or to some other - make sure the source is relevant;
8. Use advantages of CommentLuv on this blog. Show your most relevant recent blog post;
9. Share your opinion even if it is contrary to mine;
10. Check twice your grammatical errors;
