<description>Great tips. On the part where you discussed the benefit and possible drawback to mentioning someone else and the fact that they may or may not mention you [even if you&#039;ve mentioned them a 100 times!]:

The key takeaways that I see are:

1. You&#039;re doing the right thing as a marketer. Your spreading the luv!

2. The marketers that respond in kind with a favorable mention can stand as examples of what may become very profitable marketing relationships through co-branding, jv project, list swaps, resource swaps etc..

Thanks again!</description>

<description>I have to agree links are the way to high page rank. Its funny. Google says that if you content that is junk you have a low search engine ratings, but I do see it all the time that sites that have a bunch of crap and copied work from other blogs and they get the high the ratings.

Another great way to help with ranking is to link to more of your own content. This will also help lower bounce rate and google also likes seeing internal linking.

<description>Being side by side with problogger is rather flattering, so thanks for that, Allan! :)

I completely agree on the part where you said to treat others the way you&#039;d like to be treated. And on the thing about mentioning someone, sometimes they won&#039;t mention you, but do we have to look at it in that way?

What if just by being kind to person A, person B sees it and mentions you instead. The universe works in mysterious ways, so you never know what might happen.

Another great post!

<description>Let me add a little Biblical thoughts. Scriptures says in the Books of Romans, &quot; What ever you do, do not conform, but transform&quot; Meaning, do not go about doing things ordinarily, but take things up a notch. I think when you give people just a little more, they remember you and will mention you to their friends. Herein lies the essence of word of mouth.

Take for instance, if Kmart sells an item for $99 but Walmart sells that items plus a complementary product for the same price, the buzz on that item would be for Walmart. It is no different from blogging. Every article, every blog has its price or value when sized up in the public mind
