Brian from BlogEngage is a great & hard-working person. He always tries to make BlogEngage to be not just another “digg clone” :)

Nice post, and nice promotion for Blogengage.

The thing I like about blog engage is the community. It is bloggers helping fellow bloggers. Getting involved. The title of the site says it all, Blog Engage. Engage with your community and you will do well.

I decided to help promote as many blog engage uses as I can, and I have received back as well.

Good morning Allan,

Sorry it took so long for me to visit and comment on your blog. With the launch of crowda revenue sharing and my video last night was jammed packed.

I really like how you showed off some stats here to help demonstrate that blogengage can in fact drive traffic to your site. With the right topic titles and articles anyone can make it big at blogengage.

I wish you all the best of luck in our community. I see you doing very well and meeting any new friends as you already did in this post. We have some great and talented bloggers at blogengage.

Thanks for the write up!

Brian

Hi!

I’ve been reading a lot about blog engage and I’m subscribed to it and I receive a daily list of really interesting blog posts.

But when I visit blog engage, there is so much going on I’m overwhelemed and on’t know where to start.

Do you submit posts from your own blog? Do you have to get others to vote for your post before it gets listed (how?).

Any tips for a newbie blogger and a blog engage wanna be?

Thanks!

donpower,

Simply comment, vote and add friends. And of course submit unique material :) That’s it.

You submit articles from the blogengage Home screen (upper right). Cut and paste your article permalink (url), add an image (optional), select a category, add an excerpt and some keywords, then enter the Captcha. You can then preview your entry and have an opportunity to modify.

Anyone clicking on your link twice, will be taken to your blog site to read the entire post. The first click will show you who actually voted on the article.

When you first submit, the article will be considered “upcoming”. After 7 votes, it is then “published”. You will have one vote (yours) right away. Once you get started with the process, it walks you through fairly easily.

Enjoy!

Thanks Allan! Thanks Jimi! That’s exactly the info I needed RE: Blogengage

Hey – any ideas on how I can promote views for a simple, short, youtube video I just created on “How to Draw a Christmas Tree?”

Thanks in advance!

Promoting your site is the most important key to success. Of course, it’s the main point that internet users need to find you before you can benefit from them. Thanks for sharing this information!

Click to show your recent blog.

Tips for Comments:

Read the tips before you hit the "Submit" button.

NB! Though your name links are nofollow, I can make your ComLuv links dofollow - manually. And I will make them dofollow, if you show your most relevant recent post.

1. Try to add value;

2. Don't be another "congratulator";

3. Use your real name or promotional name, not keywords;

4. Do not use "name@keywords", there is no "keyword love" plugin here;

5. Try to be polite, where it's possible;

6. Do not agree with everything - that sounds and looks ridiculous;

7. If you wish to leave some link to one of your posts, or to some other - make sure the source is relevant;

8. Use advantages of CommentLuv on this blog. Show your most relevant recent blog post;

9. Share your opinion even if it is contrary to mine;

10. Check twice your grammatical errors;

PS. Full Comment Policy is on my About Me page.
