You’re totally right, because nofollow tag only matters when it comes to Google search :) But there are still other fine search engines!

Well Alan, that is comprehensive list of blog submission directory and usefull too. I think it will not matter a lot if some of these are nofollow. Attracting traffic is main purpose.

But did you notice that each page on site had different page rank?

we get benefit only a little from that site. What important is our content. Content is a king.

thanks for this great list as well Allan. You have now put me back in blog promotion mode with these 3 great lists you have put together over the last month. I have been meaning to get back to submitting and backlinking for awhile but was putting it off. With your rss list, this one and the comment luv lists, I have plenty of easy work ahead of me, thanks for doing all this work for us.

Hi Allan,

I just stumbled upon your site for the first time, yes you guessed it, whilst searching for blog directories !
This list gets a big thumbs up from me & I hope other readers realise the value & the effort you have put into creating this list.

Everybody new to blogging struggles for traffic initially & to find a list like this is like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!
